WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS DO YOU DO?
My favorite sessions to shoot are wedding however I THRIVE on building relationships so I LOVE children, High-School seniors, couples, and families. I love becoming your lifetime and family photographer!

WHERE ARE PHOTO SHOOTS HELD AND WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
I work with each of my clients to create a customized experience. Once you have booked a session, we will schedule an in-person or over-the-phone consultation to talk about all of those details! I will also send you an online information packet with details to everything you want to know about a session, including: investment and collections; examples of locations; photos and links of outfits/color schemes that I believe photograph well — as well as recommended places to shop in town and online; and much more!

HOW CAN I BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?
My advice to everyone is … book EARLY! During the busy season (summer – late fall) I can book up as far as 1-2 months out. E-mail me or jump on my contact me page and I will work with you to understand what you would like photographed and then we can select a date. Typically closer to the session date is when I nail down an exact location and meeting time and place.

WHEN DO YOU SCHEDULE YOUR PHOTO SHOOTS?
I hold my sessions on Monday- Thursday and some Saturday/Sunday however these are hard time come by during wedding season. I recommend shooting during a very precise time of day, generally the last sixty to ninety minutes before the sun has completely set. (example: In June, depending on that day's light, we may starting a session about 6:00 pm; in December, depending on the day's light, we would be starting a session about 2/3:00 pm). Newborn sessions are best in the mid-morning.

DO YOU OFFER DVDS/DIGITAL IMAGES?
I am a print based studio, therefore it really important to me to help you create amazing products for your home. However, we do also offer digital products as part of the experience.

Engagements & Weddings

WHAT ARE YOUR WEDDING COLLECTION OPTIONS?
I'd love to meet with you to discuss collections and various investment options. I love getting to know you over a cup of coffee or just hanging out in my downtown studio. Having a connection with my couples is huge! So I want to get to know you and learn all about you to make sure we are a fit before I go into pricing! Plus I like to be there to talk you through all the pricing, the experience and the products! Choosing your photographer can be stressful so I want to walk you through the process the whole way!

DO YOU BRING ALONG A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Depending on which investment option you choose, I will bring a second photographer, who assists me with photography, various other tasks, and keeps me running according to your timeline. I have a local network of fellow photographers, so you can be sure your second photographer will have the knowledge and creativity necessary to assist me in documenting your big day!

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

HOW DO YOU STORE OUR IMAGES AND FOR HOW LONG?
I have multiple backup drives to safeguard your digital images, as well as online storage for 1 year after your wedding date. I'll also keep your images safe and sound on my hard drives for 1 year. I suggest you make a copy of your USB drive and put it in safety deposit box.

WHEN WILL OUR ENGAGEMENT/WEDDING IMAGES BE READY?
You’ll have access to your final edited digital images on a USB in 2-4 weeks after your session or wedding. In other words… very quickly!

DO WE HAVE TO DO AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
No, but we highly recommend it. It's a great opportunity to get some timeless images of your and your fiancé in regular clothes, which are also great for wall portraits, gifts for parents, save the dates and more. More importantly however, is the continual building of a relationship. It's a great way for me to see how you interact as a couple, how at ease you are in front of the camera, and for you to get a feel for how I shoot as well. This makes everyone even more comfortable when the wedding day rolls around.

DO YOU TRAVEL?
Of course! I absolutely love to travel & explore new cities with my cameras, and no destination is out of the question! Photographing weddings and sessions in a variety of locations is something that keeps me feeling inspired! I would love to hear from you if you are planning a mid-west or destination wedding!!

WE'RE INTERESTED! NOW WHAT?
To book your date we do a consultation with both of you to make sure were a good fit. You will remember your wedding day through my photographs, which makes your excitement about our style & vision crucial. If distance makes an in-person meeting difficult, I am happy to plan a Skype date with you! After your consultation, if you’re as excited about me as I am about the two of you, I'll send over your booking proposal via email! Your wedding date is officially reserved once I receive the $400 retainer (+ any applicable travel costs) and a signed contract.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU TYPICALLY DELIVER FROM A WEDDING?
Each wedding varies according to the amount of wedding-day coverage you choose, but I usually deliver the best 500-700+ images from a full 8-10 hour wedding day.
